What Processor does the OTIC Netbook use?
The processor is an energy efficient ARM 920 model.
Is the system RAM upgradeable?
Unfortunately it isn't, but each model of the OTIC Netbook is shipped with the amount of system memory which is required for it to perform efficiently.
My Netbook doesn't turn on, how can I fix this?
If your Netbook doesn't turn on when you press the power button, please press the reset button which can be found on the underside of the machine, it is clearly marked, but you will need a small object like a paper clip to press the button). Please Note: No data or programs will be lost when pressing this button.
How to install Windows XP?
The 7" Model of the OTIC Netbook doesn't support Windows XP.
Why do my Favorites and other settings disappear when the Netbook is restarted?
The OTIC Netbook uses a version of Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 which has been configured to be secure against virus and adware infection. Because of this high security, there is a small drawback that any Favorites saved within the internet Explorer web browser will be lost when the Netbook is shut down. In the same way, Icons or Programs which are added to the desktop will also be lost when the Netbook is shut down.

I am having problems connecting using WiFi Make sure that Mac Address filtering is disabled on the router.
If using WEP Encryption make sure that the security key is an ASCII key and not Hexadecimal.
Double check that the security key you are using is correct and that WEP or WPA is being selected correctly.
If there are other wireless networks in the vicinity or if you use DECT wireless phones try changing the channel (frequency) that the wireless network is on.

How to setup a 3G Broadband Modem?
This model of the OTIC Netbook doesn't support 3G Broadband Modems because there are currently no Drivers avaialble for Windows CE for these devices.
Do I need an Anti Virus Program?
There have been no serious instances of virus infection on this Operating System. Becasue of this, it is not necessary to have an AntiVirus program on this Netbook.
How do I Print from my OTIC Netbook?
This model of Netbook doesn't support 3G Broadband Modems because there are currently no Printer Drivers available for Windows CE for these devices.
I am having problems connecting to my email service.
Please check that your settings are correct for your email provider.
How to extend battery life?
- Turn off WiFi - Click the green WiFi icon on the bottom bar and select "Yes".
- Reduce speaker volume - Click on "Sound Setup", slide the volume slider to the left and click "OK".
- Turn off the speaker - Click on "Sound Setup", click the Mute Everything check box and click "OK".
What kind of memory card does the CnMBook support?
- SD: include SD (Secure Digital) / MicroSD (with SD adapter).
- MiniSD (with SD adapter).
- MMC: include MMC (Multimedia Card) / MMC Plus / RS-MMC (Reduced Size) (with MMC adapter).
What is the maximum capacity of SD Cards?
The maximum storage capacity is 32GB.
What USB devices does the OTIC Netbook support?
The OTIC Netbook will support most USB Keyboards and Mice, but doesn't support USB Memory Sticks, External USB Hard Drives or USB Optical Drivers
What format of compressed files does the OTIC Netbook support?
Zip and RAR format compression files.
Why has my clock setting changed?
If the Netbook runs out of battery power and isn't connected to the mains, the time setting stored in the clock will be lost because this needs a trickle charge to be retained.
My OTIC Netbook has stopped functioning correctly
